Environmental Marshalls at Tintswalo Safari Lodge, South Africa
Tintswalo offers a fun, educational children’s programme to teach young visitors about the animals and plants in the bush. On arrival young guests are presented with a Brat Pack with an activity workbook, pens, binoculars and a water bottle, the essential equipment to become an environmental marshal.
Each day’s events are divided into different themes and include a talk, game drive and an activity. The Bush Supermarket and Restaurant teaches them about the vegetation of the area, learning what to use as toothbrushes, toilet paper and drinking receptacles, while out tracking they will learn how to identify animal spoor and paw prints. At the end of the stay, they are presented with a certificate if they have proved worthy environmental marshals.
Child minding is available at an extra cost.
