THE CAPE / KRUGER / MAURITIUS

Day 1:
You will check in for your overnight flight to Cape Town, South Africa.

Days 2 - 4:
On arrival you will pick up your hire car and drive to Camps Bay where you will stay at the Bay Hotel.

This luxurious beach front hotel is located ten minutes drive from the centre of Cape Town, overlooking the palm-fringed beaches in the prestigious Camps Bay area.

Days 5 - 6:
Today you will drive inland up through the Paarl and the wine region to Bartholomeus Klip Farmhouse.

Bartholomeus Klip Farmhouse is off the tourist trail in an unexplored region only an hour by car from Cape Town's international airport. There are only five bedrooms in this small hotel, the original Victorian homestead on a large private estate, which is both a working wheat and sheep farm and a nature reserve with a spectacular mountain backdrop.

Day 7:
Today you will drive south west to Oudtshoorn where you will stay at the Adley Guest House for the night.

Built in 1905 by Sidney Herbert Adley during the "Ostrich Feather Boom" this magnificent Victorian home was bought by Pieter and Hilda Retief, restored and is now a family run guest house. There are twelve large en-suite individually decorated rooms and 2 swimming pools set in lovely gardens. Hilda is renown for her memorable south African breakfasts and delicious evening meals are served on request, with ostrich being a speciality. This is the perfect place from which to explore the Oudtshoorn area.

Days 8 - 10:
Today you will drive over the Outeniqua Mountains and down to the coast. You will then drive along the garden route to Plettenberg Bay where you will be staying at the Plettenberg Park Hotel.

Days 11 - 13:
Today you will drive to Plettenberg airport where you will drop off your hire car and catch the scheduled flight to Hoedspruit (via Johannesburg). On arrival you will be met and transferred by road to Garonga Safari Camp.

Garonga Safari Camp is an exclusive twelve-bed safari camp situated at the foot of the Drakensberg Mountains west of the Kruger National Park in the Makalali Private Game Conservancy. The camp's six Bedouin style luxury en-suite rooms are surrounded by ebony trees on the banks of a dry watercourse and command beautiful views. Day 14:
This morning you will be transferred back to Hoedspruit where you will take the scheduled flight to Johannesburg. On arrival you will be met and transferred to Ten Bompas Hotel for the night.

Ten Bompas Hotel, (located at 10 Bompas Road) is situated 30 minutes from Johannesburg International airport. This small hotel is quite unique, with a friendly yet sophisticated atmosphere and the professional service of an international hotel. Days 15 - 19:
This morning you will be transferred back to the airport in time to check in for your flight to Mauritius. On arrival you will be met and transferred to Paradise Cove Hotel for the next 5 nights.

Superbly located in lush tropical gardens, the hotel is built around the island's only private beach and secluded cove, overlooking the lagoon and facing the northern islands.
