Sands Resort
The Sands Resort is a new luxury hotel on the west coast of Mauritius, located on a long white beach providing the perfect hideaway if you are seeking a personalised and tranquil holiday. There are 93 sea facing en-suite rooms, all equipped with air-conditioning, direct dial telephone, safe, mini bar, TV with local channels and tea/coffee making facilities. All rooms have balconies overlooking the Indian Ocean. There are 3 restaurants serving a variety of styles of cuisine and open throughout the day. You can chose from fine dining, Mauritian specialities, or light meals and bar snacks. There are a number of complementary activities and sports available, water skiing, sailing, pedalo, kayak, trips in the glass bottom boat, windsurfing, snorkelling, floodlit short tennis, beach volleyball and a games room. While there is a supplement charge if you wish to use the Padi dive centre, go deep-sea fishing, go dolphin watching or hire the bicycles.
