Equatorial with high humidity. The dry season is from June to August, and the main rainy season is from October to May.

Gabon has an equatorial climate - hot, humid and cloudy. Throughout the year temperatures hover around the 30°C (86°F) mark and rarely drop below 20°C (68°F). June to August provides slightly cooler days and some respite from the rain.

The seasons can be broken down like this:
Small dry season: Dec - Jan - Clear blue skies, very little rainfall
Long wet season: Feb - Apr - Heavy rainfall
Long dry season: May - Sept - Some cloud, no rain
Small wet season: Oct - Nov - Heavy rainfall followed by sun
