African dinner at Ardeonaig, Loch Tay Autumn 2010
We will be co-hosting an African evening at Ardeonaig, the award-winning South African-run hotel and restaurant on Loch Tay, to give you the opportunity to chat to us over a delicious six-course African themed dinner by famed chef, Pete Gottgens. The evening is designed for both the veteran African traveller and for first-timers, and will give you a taste both of its cuisine and of the exciting travel opportunities that the continent has to offer. Ardeonaig is offering a special overnight rate for Farside Africa guests attending the event, and we encourage you to make a weekend of it at this lovely country hotel. Date tbc. Jonathan Freemantle - Monthly exhibitions at Hawke & Hunter
South African artist Jonathan Freemantle, now living here in Scotland, is holding monthly exhibition nights at Edinburgh's new hip drinking and dining venue, Hawke and Hunter. Every third Thursday of the month he hosts Noir, an evening of art and music. www.noiredinburgh.blogspot.com
