Visa requirements
UK, Australian, Canadian, EU and USA passport holders require a visa to enter Mozambique. You can apply for a visa in advance. The Mozambique High Commission (www.mozambiquehc.org.uk) or the Visa Service (www.uk.cibt.com) can help you arrange it. The current cost is £40 for single entry and £70 for multiple entry. At the time of writing, it is easier and cheaper, however, to buy your visa on arrival.
Health requirements
There are certain recommended inoculations when travelling to Mozambique. You should seek advice regarding inoculations and health precautions from your GP or travel clinic as soon as your departure date is known.
The MASTA (Medical Advisory Services for Travellers Abroad) website www.masta.org (09068 224100) will give you up-to-date advice, as well as the location of your nearest Travel Clinic. Another good website to visit for travel health advice is the NHS website www.fitfortravel.scot.nhs.uk.
