Visas and health advice

It is a condition of booking a holiday with us that you do need to have travel insurance. Due to new regulations we cannot directly sell travel insurance but you can look at the insurance offered on the Travel Trust Association website.

Many countries in Africa require entry visas. You will find information in the Country Factfile for each country on our website, but you should also check the Foreign Office website for up-to-date entry requirements.

The Visa Service CIBT can help you organise your visas or you can contact the relevant embassy. Some (but not all) visas can be arranged on arrival at the airport.

You should seek advice regarding inoculations and health precautions from your doctor or travel clinic as soon as your departure date is known.

The MASTA website (Medical Advisory Services for Travellers Abroad) (09068 224100) will give you up-to-date immunisation and malarial advice, and give you the location of your nearest travel clinic.

The NHS website Fit for Travel also offers travel health advice.
